At Equanimity Labs, our Robotics Program is rooted in the VEX V5 platform—one of the most advanced, accessible, and real-world-ready systems for teaching engineering and coding through robotics.

Vex Robotics Website:    V5 – VEX Robotics

We are proud to sponsor and coach a competitive VEX V5 Robotics Team, where students design, build, program, and refine their own robots in preparation for local, regional, and national VEX Robotics Competitions.

But while the competition motivates excellence, our deeper mission remains:

    • To develop future-ready technical skills in programming, mechanics, and problem-solving

    • To build emotional intelligence through teamwork, communication, and collaboration

    • To foster grit, creativity, and leadership under real-world pressure

Whether they’re writing autonomous routines, troubleshooting drivetrain issues, or strategizing with their alliance partners, students learn far more than robotics—they learn how to think like engineers and lead like human beings.

Our team doesn’t just compete to win.  We compete to grow.

Every match is a lesson. Every setback is an opportunity.
